This tour provides you a memorable camping experience in the wilds of the second largest national park in Sri Lanka; Yala. Camp out in the forested wilderness, that covers the Hambantota-Yala area on the southern coastline. Go on safaris as you explore the many ecosystems that the park hosts; such as freshwater and marine wetlands. As you travel through the Yala, which is one of the oldest national parks on the island; get a chance to see the many species of fauna that inhabit it, such as the large numbers of elephants, axis deer, sambhur and more. Go birdwatching to catch sight of the hundreds of species of birds that live in the park. Get a glimpse of the elusive Sri Lankan Leopard; as the leopards can be found in this park are amongst the highest density per area found in the world. Enjoy the starry evenings in the company of friends and family, as you build the campfire or relax in hammocks with a drink in hand.
